Staff participate in Action Research and Food Defenders Training

CWEARC staff participated in the Food Defenders Training organized by the Philippine Network of Food Security Programmes (PNFSP) Inc. The said training aimed to build the capacity of PNFSP partners and members in action research, campaigns and advocacy on food defenders’ rights.

CWEARC joins SWDL Network

CWEARC participated in the Learning Conversation organized by the DSWD Social Welfare and Development Learning Network (SWDL-Net). SWDL-Net is a learning network providing relevant and accessible social welfare and development capacity building programs. The network’s mission is to enhance the capacity of organizations, groups and individuals that are engaged in poverty alleviation and social protection.

Interns produce an IEC on Magna Carta of Women

As part of its continuing public advocacy on women’s rights, CWEARC released a series of IEC materials online on salient provisions of the Magna Carta of Women or Republic Act 9710.  The IEC materials were developed by the first batch of creative and energetic BA Communication interns from the University of the Cordilleras (UC), with whom CWEARC had the pleasure of working with. The project is part of the institutional partnership of CWEARC with the UC-College of Arts and Sciences. The interns optimized the Tiktok application for these IEC materials, which you can find in the following links:
