UB interns produce research on women workers’ situation in Baguio

Interns from the University of Baguio have completed their research write up on the situation of women workers in selected  business enterprises at the Baguio City Export Processing Zone (BCEPZ). The write up will be published soon in CWEARC’s research journal, Kali. The research summary will be posted soon in this website.

Gender-based violence and laws for the protection of women and children

CWEARC is pleased to share to the public its latest IEC material entitled Ingay sa Katahimikan: gender-based violence and laws for the protection of women and children produced by the second batch of dedicated BA  Communication interns from the University of the Cordilleras (UC). This IEC project is a continuation of CWEARC’s partnership with the UC-College of Arts and Sciences.

 

Interns produce an IEC on Magna Carta of Women

As part of its continuing public advocacy on women’s rights, CWEARC released a series of IEC materials online on salient provisions of the Magna Carta of Women or Republic Act 9710.  The IEC materials were developed by the first batch of creative and energetic BA Communication interns from the University of the Cordilleras (UC), with whom CWEARC had the pleasure of working with. The project is part of the institutional partnership of CWEARC with the UC-College of Arts and Sciences.
